? Origin of NSS Badge
The NSS badge is inspired by the wheel of the Sun Temple at Konark, Odisha. It symbolizes continuous activity, reminding volunteers to remain socially active 24 hours a day.
? Notable Works (Since June 2022)
NSS plays a vital role in nurturing social awareness, leadership qualities, and a spirit of service among students. Throughout the year, various activities such as cleanliness drives, plastic-free campus initiatives, blood donation camps, and health awareness programs are organized.
Under environmental conservation, the construction of “Ankur Vatika” stands as a remarkable achievement. The Honorable Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Ji and former Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan Ji personally participated by planting trees.
The college has established Vidya Van, Eco Vatika, and NSS Vatika. Special programs and rallies were conducted on Independence Day, Republic Day, Human Rights Day, and Environment Day. Community outreach programs including literacy drives, cleanliness awareness, and health check-up camps were organized in rural areas.
